Eye witness accounts said three shooters. Police scanners said three suspects. Two shot dead, one flees. News starts reporting all suspects dead or captured while cops are still chasing third suspect. He's detained. Then it disappears from the news.

Except for one news report I saw that said "in a humorous twist, the third suspect was not a terrorist but was booked on a misdemeanor warrant."

Or perhaps during a chaotic period where news and hearsay often get mixed together, just maybe someone heard something about a third (possibly unrelated) suspect and just ran with it before realizing their mistake.

Not saying this is what happened, but news agencies don't operate all that well during crises and end up reporting whatever the he'll they think is important.

The third gunman was trained by the CIA under Obama's orders. He needs this highly trained terrorist for other attacks on US soil. To push his agenda he need to strike fear in the people he governs. I think this is the right place for this comment?

I was listening to the scanners as it happened. They had the shootout, chased a suspect from the scene. Description was dark-skinned male, beard, orange shirt and tan camo pants.
