When you sign up here, after creating an account you should just be taken to a page with a list of all whoaverses that you can scroll through and pick and choose what interests you. Possibly include a sort ability so you can sort by subscribers so you can see what's popular or by genre. no defaults at all though.

I read the article (thank you to the author for not calling whoaverse a reddit ripoff!). I also like your ideas PrivateJoker. To technical people like me, things may seem logical because I designed them so, but it is the end users who should have the final word when it comes to how they want to navigate and use a website. The idea of sorting subs by various parameters and taking a newly registered user to the list of subverses is so simple and just brilliant and I think that it brings so much to the table! Thanks!
