Does anyone else think Martin Shkreli is being used? ( conspiracy )

submitted 2015-12-12T09:30 by ElspethTirel

If he is being plastered over the front page of Reddit, that makes me think there is something to be gained. Follow the money right? Well, he raises the price of a drug sharply, and competitors introduce their variation onto the market at a much lower price and people eat it up. I think the conspiracy there is pretty blatant.

I also think he is being used as a "two minutes of hate" scapegoat to keep people distracted. I suggested to friends that it's a great thing this guy exists because he is causing other companies to market the same drug at lower costs and my opinion is met with anger. He is a "villain" to everyone.
