shocked that 40% of americans are functionally retarded.

Maki_Man

Pretty sure all MSM in the west not just in the US is Zionist-controlled and operated. Look up David Duke and his website and YouTube channel, he exposes all of it.

The crazy thing is that there are a small percentage of highly racist, tribal people in very key positions of power in media, finance and politics that manipulate everything across the entire world in attempt to establish the NWO. They use divide and conquer tactics and get everyone else battling each other while they evade the spotlight.

I distrust this statement.

Korr

that's the spirit! lol

glennvtx

Only 60%? man, people really ARE dumb.

dontwatchtv

18% have no confidence at all in the media.

The most important number is how many people have no confidence at all in the media--18%. But that number had only increased by 3% since 1998 when it was 15%. I find that number to be very disappointing. But, it explains a lot.

Many people feel that the media is biased but the facts are true. And that's the real problem. The facts that are being reported is often bullshit.

Did anybody see one of the last episodes of South park were Jimmy talks about Journalism ?It's funny cause it's true .

CommonSense

That's the problem with South Park now. it relies too heavily on "it's funny because it's true." You can tell Matt and Trey (mostly Trey) no longer do the majority of the writing for the show...despite the claim. Or, they just no longer have any passion for the universe they created.

Chiefpacman

Matt's been not writing for a while- they've made no claim otherwise. Trey still lives for the show, and writes a lot. They've brought on new talent (like Bill Hader), but it's still gold.

I love the oroginality of this season, I've never seen anything like it. It's hilarious but also a good ride.

100011

But i still love South Park and i can't wait for the new game . Stick of truth was comedy gold .

Chiefpacman

The original writers are still heavily invested in the show. Idk what that guy's going on about, South Park is awesome.

In 1965 in my high school civics class we discussed 'yellow journalism' and how it related to Randolph Hearst.

The Spanish-American War is often referred to as the first "media war." During the 1890s, journalism that sensationalized—and sometimes even manufactured—dramatic events was a powerful force that helped propel the United States into war with Spain. Led by newspaper owners William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer, journalism of the 1890s used melodrama, romance, and hyperbole to sell millions of newspapers--a style that became known as yellow journalism.

That same teacher also taught us about Advertising and Propaganda Techniques.

pepepepepe

They still teach that in schools today. The problem is that either people don't connect the dots or they think it magically disappeared.

Chiefpacman

That could mean they still trust their source. Those who watch MSNBC think Fox is rigged, and vise versa. They distrust the media but accept their choice.

pepepepepe

This is the reason I attribute the 90%+ disapproval rating of Congress to.

macredsmile

Fuck MSNBC & Fox news.

Chiefpacman

Agreed. Doesn't change what I said.
