Not only is South America primed for economic collapse, but the governments there are overwhelming corrupt. Any chance of fixing things would have to come after a total collapse, because what the fuck can you do against the cartels and gangs when they openly own your government?

Omg yes they're fucked. You think America has too much debt? LOL! Look at Venezuela, whose currency is so shitty, they can't even import food for their shelves.

Now mix in a massive global financial crisis, let all that debt go to shit, let their central banks increase the money supply 10 fold, and watch as society breaks the fuck down.

Will South America explode? More like implode, as their governments collapse on themselves, and armed gangs roam the streets, borders get redrawn, many many people get killed.
