I happened on this video the other day. A wonderfully concise compilation of confirmed and confessed conspiracies.

I agree with the idea that even in the conspiracy threads of popular sites like Reddit which I often frequent myself, that some of the front page shit, especially the topics that get thousands of upvotes when most topics only receive tens or hundreds at most, have something fishy going on. The real conspiracy is that our attention is still being diverted away from the real shit that is happening. /r/conspiracy has become the new /r/politics . Even on Voat here, much of the trending topics are the same links as on Reddit. Maybe the people who post there also post here, and vice-versa, but we have to wonder every time we see or hear any news, even if it's "conspiracy-related", that our attention is not going to other more important stuff.

There haven't been any terrorist attacks stopped by data collection that this person is referencing. We already have laws on the books to get this kind of data anyway. It's called a warrant, it's legal, and constitutional. Anything else in my opinion is a government over reach.

It most certainly is controlled opposition/misinformation. It's one of, if not the single biggest hub for conspiracy theorists on the internet. It's probably one of their most important targets to monitor.

This woman in the video says some things that are pretty stupid. She touts the 2nd amendment, but then basically says we need to get rid of the 4th, by allowing the US gov to search all our data without a warrant.
