There was an excellent post referenced in /r/conspiracy which was originally posted elsewhere (it may have been a thread comment rather than an OP) a few weeks ago that was essentially an epic wall of text showing how the US government and US civil society has fundamentally deteriorated and we essentially live in a police state with each sentence linked to a source.
