You can go fuck yourself.

I don't have to explain shit to you. I post a link, people talk. That's it. If I choose to add my own commentary, that's MY choice. I don't need to sit here explaining my thread choices to you or anyone else. Eat shit.

ElspethTirel

Why don't you use your noodle and come up with ideas on your own instead of needing regurgitation like a baby bird?

i like the theory that what we call meteorites falling to earth are actually fallen angels being cast down from heaven. I can't say I believe it but be cool to think if it were true.. reality can be so boring :p

You got downvoted, but downvotes are for people who don't contribute to the discussion. Albeit, I also don't agree, but it is an interesting sentiment that is related to the video.

Ya I mean I can't really say whether I actually believe in spirits or any of that stuff as it is, it's just interesting thoughts to entertain to me.

ElspethTirel

Definitely. As a writer, and a general person who is curious about the world, I love to read theories, and especially other people's ideas about them, because that's the kind of collaboration which helps our problem solving skills.

I think my favorite theory of all time is the one which postulates most religions and spiritualities mythologies are metaphors for aliens and their involvement on our world/with humans. Kind of a fridge horror feeling when you think that there might not just be one group, but many, and they all have their own goals in mind when dealing with the Earth.

frankenham

The theory of mankind being a genetic experiment to be used as resource miners for aliens is definitely interesting.

Another interesting one is that the ancient greek/roman/egyptian gods were actually the nephilim that the bible talks about. I find mythology just really fascinating altogether.

ElspethTirel

One of my favorite "flat earth" theories is that the Earth is a single dimensional plane, with all of space included. Relevant because I came up with a theory, not sure if it's original or not, that were the biblical mythologies to be true/somewhat true- at least in the case of a heaven/paradise, purgatory, and hell.

In this scenario, I believe heaven, purgatory, and hell to be separate universes. "Above" in the dimensions is heaven, a realm of aether, pure energy and light, consciousness. "Below" is hell, or rather, matter, as well as pain and suffering- but pain and suffering cannot exist on their own, they need joy and pleasure to provide reference points- otherwise there is no such thing as pain. It's just stimulation. That's why, in this scenario, I believe Earth is hell.

Now the theories of reality being a simulation are something I can really get behind. The Buddhists really were correct with the statements of reality being illusory, something which science has been confirming more and more as time goes on. I tend to view reality and life altogether almost like minecraft, as if the entire world is our playground to explore and create freely in.. but we've been led astray and have been put under control to the point where we're working office jobs indoors all hours of the day living miserable lives we don't truly enjoy.. almost as if something out there hates humanity and wants us to suffer as much as possible within a world potential of absolute freedom.
