Wouldn't want any revolutions.

TimberWolfAlpha

Not me.

My dad uses a bunch of ned flanders -esque gibberish in the place of profanity. If he'd just out and swear it wouldn't irritate me half as much, but his purposeful avoidance of it gets under my skin.

Maki_Man

I read that people who swear often may actually be smarter. IMO, I use profanity in my arguments sometimes because I find it to be a very easy and honest way to express my views and get to the point faster.

Anger is one of the most popular emotions that can spread pretty rapidly. I think this was explained in a CGP Grey video. Anger is what riles people up and motivates them to get things done. Anger is what drives certain protests (and riots). Anger can grant power. The elite have been looking and exploiting every possible way to remove our powers from many tiny pieces at once while themselves trying to hold onto and gain more power.

People who let "profanity" rule their communicative protocols are stupid as fuck. They are one step further from freedom.

pitenius

I know this is VOAT, but honestly, this is where I draw the line and blame white people. It's always some Miss Ann with a cobwebbed cunt, smirking her little smirk and tsk-ing her little tsk who breaks out the profanity police. Some people are better at swearing than others, and it's not my fault that their shitphobic minds never developed those skills or their pencil-thin birth canals never a decent cock-rootering.

I hate when you censor your self with the likes of "Sh-ugar" and "Fu-dge" and some prude still gets offended. It's like 'I thought that's what you meant by "watch your language?"'.

One word (or primal) screams - unlike eloquent speeches - have the power to reduce stress and cortisol levels and help with pain reduction and/or endurance. Or so 'they' say.

Atarian

That's one of my favourite hobbies.

Yeah, you need to be an ozzie to call someone a great cunt and be praising them.

It's definitely possible to eloquently express emotion without resorting to obscenities. Read any of the great public speeches from history. Having to rely on profanity to express oneself is a mark of low class and low verbal intelligence.

Dysnomia

Bigot.

Atarian

Fuck off.

Eloquent

It's a hell of a lot faster and easier though.
