My Grandfather saw something strange a few days ago-- anyone know what it might be? ( conspiracy )

EDIT: Here is the Radar Station my grandfather says it right under where the anomaly happened--

My grandfather was outside his back yard Thursday morning feeding his dogs when he just so happened to cast his gaze to the sky. There, he claims to have seen a perfectly rectangular, perfectly homogeneously solid cloud with rounded edges. The way he described it he kind of just stood and looked at it for a bit, thinking it stage-- of course not strange enought to warrant more than a moments admiration. Suddenly, from this cloud rose a "Ball of plasma of some kind" to which my grandfather first equated to it being the moon. Still, he watched it and a few second later, "The damn thing turned yellow on the inside and started to grow." Within a matter of seconds the ball rises further from the cloud, and *completely dissipates the cloud*.

In it's place was left nothing but a tiny saucer shaped vapor to which my grandpa has a picture of. It is clearly different from the other clouds in the picture and we haven't been able to find anything similar on youtube, scientific, or conspiracy sites.

So, some more information: it wasn't ball lighting, the conditions outside were beautiful with a slight breeze, this happened around 10:00am. No my grandfather isn't crazy-- he has 20/20 vision in his early sixties and works at a mineral test lab here in Arizona. (If you want my location please message me personally).

Does anyone have any information on what this might be? My grandfather has been fascinated with this and continues to talk about it. He is by no means a conspiracy theorist, if not the complete opposite. He swears there is some kind of Microwave(?) / Radiowave(?) plant to the east of his house and says he called them up but they didn't know anything. I personally don't know what the hell my Grand dad wa talking about. I've never heard of a radiowave plant before today.

NOTE: Tomorrow I am getting the pictures and confirmation on that mico-something factory/place he was muttering about. I did some google searches and can't find Jack on it. **(Refer to Edit)**

If you know of anything that can describe this phenomena, I'd be grateful voat!

Strangely enough the sun isn't even visible in the part of the sky the incident takes place.

I'll wait on the picture before I enter wild speculation. Clarify for me though, why do you say it's not ball lightning? Lightning has various causes, and it really only needs an electric differential in order to happen. I've heard it suggested that ball lightning is a phenomenon caused exclusively by high power radio waves, so I'd look into that broadcasting station you mentioned.

HAARP (as another user has already mentioned) has been said to be associated with orbs, but I've heard that a large HAM radio station is enough to cause an orb if the conditions are met.

As for the weird cloud, it is possible that a normal cloud was hitting into a warm/cold front, causing a seemingly flat edge. It seems unlikely that this could explain more than one side of the shape though, so who knows.

We have watched numerous videos of it. My grandpa says it doesn't share the same properties, as the ball he saw was perfectly spherical and completely dissipated in about 4 seconds time with the entire cloud itself.

It could still be ball lighting, but we can't find any videos that match it yet.

no problems i can give examples at that time, it's not ball lighting, or any of that, lots of people will have to tell you a bunch of different things they are just doing their 'job.'

Sounds like a HAARP field if your Grandad is saying there is a micro/radiowave plant nearby.

We currently reside in Morenci Arizona the second largest copper mine in the U.S. and a very large exporter of minerals. What the fuck man, this is super interesting because it explains my grandfathers "site" he claims to have contacted.... thanks a million times for this...

When I looked at that HAARP locations map I couldn't shake the feeling that I have seen something similar to that,so I googled it and in doing so I found this "map" of Earth chakra points. I'm not big on the whole spirituality mumbo jumbo, but some of those points being similar can't just be a coincidence

Good find. Interesting - I think it might correlate with Earth's major ley points as well. And something in common with all these areas; they are all situated over significant, deep mineral and precious metal deposits.
