I don't think Canadian parents do this. They love their children and this study is probably skewed at best.

Not even, ADD drugs and anti depressants are handed out like candy, you're encouraged to seek "help" if you feel at all off in those environments. Which most people do since the current education system is more propaganda then anything.

There are 2 types of parents. The well balanced and informed responsible parent and the selfish, lazy parent who will do anything to calm their children and allow them higher marks so they can brag to their equally shallow friends.

giving your kids excessive and unneeded medication is horrible child abuse, that sure as fuck wont fly when the ritalin generation starts having kids.
