Lobotomy

See, the only conspiracies I believe are the ones that are factually evident, such as NSA domestic spying, the JFK murder, ISIS being founded and funded by the United States to perpetuate war indefinitely, etc.

It really hasn't changed my life other than making it so that I have absolutely zero trust in the government. I rely on my own abilities to keep myself and my friends secure and free, not the government. I don't own a smartphone. That's about the extent of it.

1) Makes you way more financially secure, i.e., you can see bubbles coming a mile away.

2) Improves your health, i.e., we're usually the first to know what's not good to eat.

3) Makes you a way more informed, therefore a better human, i.e., we have been here way longer than what we were taught in school.

4) Filters out the noise therefore makes life/entertainment way better.

5) One of the first things you realize is that life is just a ride (see Bill Hicks).

stopped caring about federal elections

Presidential elections do really mean nothing. Senate and Congress can actually make some sort of difference...but it's pretty rare

While other people prefer to walk a straight line, I love to wonder about to see what else is out there. Those people may look and shake their head at you, but you pay no attention to any of it. You know deep down that a straight line offers only a narrow view of the world, and a narrow minded person begets a world we live in today.

I have met many people who share similar views, and I've lost friends because of the above. I enjoy reading stories of the unknown and throw about ideas which would be considered taboo. People may act differently towards you, but in all honesty who cares.

You're a hippie, gotcha! :P I kid, I kid. We're very much alike.

Sciency

It's cost me some serious time in research, and an odd friend or two. It's also made me dozens of friends, and given me some hope for the future. I thought I was alone in being disillusioned, until I started talking about these things to people in the real world.

No regrets here, the bad is already effecting us, might as well take the good along with it.

I haven't noticed any changes, but that's probably just what 'they' want me to think...
