I mean it doesn't really matter. As long as people can get the original version nobody's going to go out of their way to buy something that's been scrubbed.

Unless they only see "new version" and not know that it differs from original. That's the problem at hand, if you neglect something for any reason, and the next generation reads it, they have part of it missing if you know what I mean.

Im pretty sure a lot of it already is. If you ask your a-typical "'merican" they will tell you how much USA! kicked ass in WWII when most of the world still remembers how they did not participate until much later.
