This is one of those moments where voat shines. Here is a white nationalist says something, and even though I disagree with his political stance, I get to digest what he says and see the value in it.

I've always seen the software world as the true equalizer. I can't see your skin color, your gender, your religion, your politics, your economic status, or your sexuality (unless you show me those things). All I can see is your ideas, and that is how I will judge you. Ideas are the only things worth judging.

For a while, we were all equal here. Now, suddenly all these social identifiers are being forced into (ir)relevancy. Our anonimity freed us from unjust prejudices, and now identity is the thing being craved and cherished and vomited forth.

We need to make anonimity cool again. Let the cultural marxists or whatever you wanna call them spew their identity out and pretend that it matters. They want you to step out and say "WELL I'M A WHITE MIDDLE CLASS MALE AND I'M NOT ASHAMED OF IT! IN FACT, I'M PROUD!". Don't fall for that trap. Don't be proud. That's a worthless sentiment. Stay behind the curtain, because that gives you real power online.

They want you to react. Deny them. You don't fight the social identity battle with more social identity. You fight it with ideas. You let your ideas be judged, so that you can find which are the best ones, so that only the strongest ideas can really flourish. Not the strongest race, or gender, or whatever bullshit. They are saying that ideas don't matter anymore, that the competition of ideas is unjust. Let them exist in that intellectual vacuum. Don't dive headfirst into it with them.

Mundus vult decipi, ergo decipiatur.

Those who wish to be deceived, let them be deceived.
