JFK was killed because he threatened the Jewish lobby and the Fed.

Maybe the mob ended up taking the job, maybe not. I'm gonna guess not due to the need for secrecy and cover-up.

How did the mob get the presidential limo back to Ford and have it stripped? I would have to go back and look at the time line but I think it was actually on its way to Ford while Oswald still lived.

I would not say 100% mob hit though, seems to me that there is a powerful case to be made that elements of the CIA, Secret Service and FBI outsourced the hit to the mob.

Look at the behaviour of the SS before the assassination when the 2 bodyguards were "stood down" from the back of the lead car - you can see them looking baffled at this order which is obviously against protocol.

Then look at the SS behaviour after the hit - basic intimidation of the doctors and coroner at the hospital. They bullied the coroner there into giving up JFK's body and taking it to Washington, despite it being the law that the autopsy must be performed in Texas.

There is strong evidence that the Zapruder film was manipulated. After it was purchased by Life magazine it was taken to Washington where it was worked on by CIA analysts, Then it was taken to Kodak in NYC before being returned to the CIA labs. One of the guys who worked on it says that it was not the same when it came back.

The mob couldn't have done any of this.

The mob angle is always the one that made the most sense to me. I mean the thing is there isn't really that much distance between government institutions and organised crime. Sort of like how I imagine prison wardens turn a blind eye to half the crap that goes on - which I doubt they have the means to control, anyway - as long as the inmates promise to give them a piece of the action and toe the line.

How did the mob get Sirhan Sirhan to assassinate RFK? They are not that sophisticated. Nor do I believe they could pull off JFK's assassination.

And why the secrecy? We want to protect the mob's reputation for the last 60 years?

The government keeps bad secrets about itself.

It was because jfk wanted to stop a new world order. So the maffia got used to make sure that he didn't have that opportunity.
