whole point was to talk about flat earth

No. My point is that when you bring these topics up, people get defensive and emotional and it doesn't make for good conversation, discussion, theorizing, or debating. That is the trademark of a lie, a psyop- misdirection. ex: why would you even want to discuss the moon landing being fake? are you stupid? -this then takes away whatever credibility the individual has, rendering whatever information they would share then, and in the future, as worth less than it is simply by virtue of them being branded "stupid."

Does nobody else see how this is the exact same kind of dividing tactic the SJWs are using with regards to sexism and racism?

So what's the point? Just muddying the waters even more?

Whenever I bring up this stuff, people are quick to make like they know what I think. Look through my post history and you'll find little to point you in any direction.

Look at this comment. This is exactly what I am talking about.

I'm not sure what you're asking? The earth is not flat, we've known that a very long time. Only an absolute idiot would believe the earth is flat at this point?

ElspethTirel

Only an absolute idiot

You are proving exactly what I am talking about.

I'm sorry...granted I'm watching the Alabama/Clemson game and drinking TX Whiskey but I'm really not getting your point? Are you saying people that don't buy into the flat earth theory get worked up about it? I'm certainly not passionate about it, I just think anyone that believes that is a certifiable idiot?

carbanara

I'm willing to claim to be a flat earthen just to make people who take the Internet way too seriously very angry.

Dashippy

People get mad about the Moon landing because 'Murrica. They're also tired of the argument. It's been going on for so long people just get frustrated when people try and bring it up again. With flat Earth people; it's just that they're seen as being so stupid that people can't help but get angry with them.
