Your Social Security card is already the national ID card. You can't get a job, rent a house, obtain a loan, get a drivers license, apply to college, get a credit card or even get medical care without that number. All of us on this subvoat probably has an NSA or FBI file under our SSN as well.

It is too easy to fraudulently work or apply for credit on someone else's SSN. The new card will come with the ability to apply digital signatures and passwords. If you work for the federal govt or in the military, you are already familiar with this format. It might even come with a NFC. The government, your employer, school will know when you are coming and going.

On a side note, the mark of the Beast will never be put on your forehead or hand, it will be in your backpocket.

Honestly as someone who has traveled a bunch around America I don't see the issue with this. I look very young, immpishing thirty and still get ID for rated R movies and Tobacco. And my first drivers license looked completely fake in the state where I went to college. Buying alcohol was a nightmare.

So why is this a bad thing?

Because you don't know whats good for you, only the government does.

Nice little mantra there, did Rush tell you to say that?

For one it's illegal.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_movement_under_United_States_law

"The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States."

(1823), the Supreme Court recognized freedom of movement as a fundamental Constitutional right.

As early as the Articles of Confederation the Congress recognized freedom of movement (Article 4), though the right was thought to be so fundamental during the drafting of the Constitution as not needing explicit enumeration.

For another it's not safe.
