My girlfriends brother runs an elite (expensive) private school in Argentina and a lot of the kids are third gen German. Coincidence? Maybe. But their grandparents just all decided to move there for some reason about 1945.

there is no convincing evidence that i am aware of that Hitler died anywhere else other than the Berlin bunker and, given who he really was, i serious doubt he would have fled - this is a very brave guy that won several medals for bravery in WW1, including 2 iron crosses - one first class for capturing 5 French soldiers while armed with only a pistol

Rescuing Israel: The Holocaust - The Man

Haha, "cowardly leftist view", yeah, right. There's absolutely nothing brave about sending your own men to a certain death knowing there's no chance to win. That's being a retarded asshole.

There is a good book and documentary-series on it:
Hunting Hitler.
It first investigates the suicide theory, and goes into detail how there is no real evidence for it. The skull that was supposed to be Hitler's is a woman's. The witnesses never saw Hitler dead, they just saw a sack with a body in it. And were ordered to burn it.

Then the documentary investigates if it were possible to flee Berlin. He would need a secret tunnel and a secret airplane. They find the tunnel, which was unknown before. And they find old reports that many airplanes had left Berlin, some capable of travelling long distances. They also find that Hitlers's personal items were transported by airplane out of Berlin.

Then they needed a place where Hitler might have landed. The obvious place was in Spain, because the fascist dictator Franco was likely to help him. And indeed do they find the places where he landed, stayed and left again. There was also a witness still alive.

They find secret places where Franco was helping the nazis during the war. Including a base for U-boats.

In Argentina they find a witness who had seen nazis coming from an U-boat after the war. The witness recognized Hitler. They find different places where well known nazis stayed, and where Hitler might have stayed too.

Additionally they find many reports from intelligence agencies about Hitler's stay in South America. Some of which they could verify.

I don't know why the intelligence agencies stayed quiet over Hitlers escape. Maybe some officials actually believed that he had died. The information exchange with USSR was difficult at that time. Or maybe they were just glad the war was over, and wanted to focus on the war with Japan.

Later when the CIA started a "cold war" in South America, they seem to have connections with the Nazis there. The intelligence had also recruited former Nazis. An interesting black chapter.

Talk the Boys from Brazil and get their word on the issue.

I'm pretty sure it got suppressed because it mentions aliens

norse

you knew him well i take it.

DoomMantia

and he still sent his men into battle knowing they were lost

And that's a good thing how?

dabork

And either way he is almost certainly dead by now even if this was true and aside from the government cover up in the name of nationalist pride, the ramifications are small.

Lobotomy

I thought he was living in the Moon Landing studio with Elvis Presley and Amelia Earhart.

MrPim

Naw, didn't you see that documentary, they're living on the dark side of the moon.

Alias_Unknown

Along with Roger Waters.
