I'd be happy to help.

Contrary to some of the comments ITT, I've been easily the least ban-happy mod on /r/conspiracy .

I became a mod on /r/conspiracy after years of dedicating myself to the sub.

Now that I'm becoming disillusioned with reddit, I see no reason why I can't shift my energy here.

We certainly have a lot more work to do.

Being less shitty than a big pile of shit doesn't make someone not a piece of shit .

Axolotl is a joke account extreme. He posts long winded essays on the most out-there stuff and won't discuss it with anyone that isn't "wow, look at all this great research. I understand that this is entirely contradictory to known mathematics, but let's just pretend otherwise anyway..."

axolotl__peyotl

What have you done?

left_one

Please do not select those few as mods. They will ban people for disagreeing with them.

They say they won't, but watch. They will.

axolotl__peyotl

I've banned like 5 people since becoming a mod on /r/conspiracy , that's just absurd.

left_one

Well, considering how it's impossible for users to tell which mod banned them, I'm considering all of your actions the same.

Considering you obviously don't care to right wrong bannings, you aren't even actually making a defense of yourself. Have 5 people been banned since you've been a mod? or has it been more?

why was my account banned?

axolotl__peyotl

I'd be happy to look into that for you. PM me on reddit. I think it's best to keep these places as separate as possible.

istalkezwhoa

Sounds good to me about moderators, works pretty well on reddit.

Canadian_POG

I second this. AATA, AP, Alllie, and Peglius sounds good.

shill

I think it's horrible to put the same mods from /r/conspiracy over here. Assuredly spammed the shit out of this board making it unusable last night. Both axot and AATA have shown to be power hungry and to censor conversation to make sure only one narrative is ever allowed to get through. It's pretty about.

/r/conspiracy did not work. There's no reason to repeat the same mistakes. Let new people have a chance. As for bots, I know how they work on reddit but not sure if the same thing would work here, I'll look into it as can anybody else in the meantime.

But as I also said before, BEFORE we add mods I believe we should figure out what the rules here are. Otherwise it's just going to be chaos for everyone.

Unfortunately, you've been downvoted to hell for this post so I don't believe anybody will see it.

Whoa...source on that?

PrivateJoker

FYI: The above douche is rusty5hackleford. He'll get mad as fuck when called out and deny it. He had at least 4 accounts banned on r/conspiracy for the same bullshit

I'm another person and I don't want any of them as mods.

I've always wondered if you and sovereignman and assuredlyathrowaway were always the same person too. What's the point of accusations without evidence, though?

shill

You've accused me of being 4 different people. Get your shit together douche.

istalkezwhoa

Im sorry but I don't agree that there is a certain narrative being pushed on reddit. Care to expand on that ?

shill

Regardless of whether you agree, why can't we have new moderation here? Try other people. You know why you don't hear about how everyone hates the mods on /r/conspiracy ? Because it's literally against the rules to talk about it. They censor EVERYTHING and make it against the rules to even question the quality of the sub (YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED FOR ATTACKING THE SUB, even though you didn't).

Seriously, look at the repeat posters and the content they push. They never really comment but when they do it's usually in reply to another user who just always happens to be in their threads. Point this out on /r/conspiracy ? That's a banning for attacking a user even though you didn't.

The mods have purposefully made /r/conspiracy an echo chamber where any dissenting opinion can be a bannable offense.

Edit: Also, you can find a million comments where verbally attacking a dissenter is 100% allowed. Report them, they won't be deleted. The user will not get banned. But actually try to voice a dissenting opinion sometime, see how long it takes before you get banned. Sometimes they don't even put a reason in the ban box because there is none except they don't like you. It's a shit mod team and they definitely push their own agendas.

Atko said you have to message him to get mods added currently, but I don't remember which comment you have to ask him on.
