Honest question - Can the government actually own patents? IMHO, I don't think they can seeing as how the government is the people. Maybe they own it so others can't claim a patent?

Pretty much, they are trying to shut down the market at much as they can by controlling via patent law.

Uuhhh, Drugs are bad MM'Kay. ....

“There is a false sense that marijuana legalization is on the move, when we are seeing a huge pushback against legalization, particularly in small towns across the country,” Chipman said. “It is a seriously harmful drug that is much stronger than it was in the ’70s and is getting stronger by the month.”

What a load of bulls*it. What a waste of time. Did it ever occur to her that life isn't so black and white?

Forget her, we don't need HER approval, we have God's approval to use it to help people.
With every decision like this it proves more and more that we don't need the State any more.

They are making themselves obsolete when they continue to show their inability to change.
