Yes, garbage and lies to prey on those that won't or can't appreciate real solid research. Anecdotes are no way to treat illness. There are natural remedies for certain things, but they are all testable and proven to work. Most homeopathic remedies sold in stores aren't what they claim to be, or aren't in a concentration that would do any good. Do you have any idea how much willow bark you have to chew or drink as a tea to take care of a headache? How much local honey one has to eat to actually help with allergies? So yeah, all the stuff you can buy at the local hippie shop is bunk. But, there is always the placebo/nocebo effect, and maybe that's all some people really need (cause they are't really sick).
