These comments are a white hot mess and distracting from the issue at hand. Who honestly cares about formatting?

That this happens in America blows me away.

Mumberthrax

yeah. I read the title and came to the comments first, only afterward did I actually open the article itself, and realize what probably happened here. So i felt a little embarrassed at my knee-jerk reaction and edited my comment.

I still think it would be a good rule.

HOW ABOUT A RULE THAT SAYS YOU HAVE TO STICK TO COMMENTING ABOUT THE ISSUE IN THE ARTICLE AND NOT YOUR PERSONAL CHOICE OF TITLE?

Mumberthrax

That could be a good rule too!

Mumberthrax

Can we have a rule about all-capital letters in the titles of the submissions here? This sort of thing really does not do the subverse or community any service in terms of credibility.

edit: I recognize that the article in question also has all capital letters... and i can see now how easy it would have been to copy and paste it in here. I think it makes a difference when you look at the title in the font and format on the articles page versus looking at an all-caps title in something like /v/all amongst the other non-capitalized titles.

I did the 'generate title' function, then went back and removed the all caps, then submitted it. It still did all caps :/
