Meanwhile you "help" their buddy China join the IMF currency basket while disrupting their stock market so their centrally-planned malinvestments fall apart, which requires they tax the people to make up for it (creating civil unrest) since devaluation of the RMB (now a "global currency") is no longer an option and local government loyalty has to be bought (and therefore can't be skimped on without inciting revolt by party factions, with actual power). Then Russia finally declares war on you and the international community doesn't condemn you because "they started it".
