Yeah and then they will lose the election, but it's still worth it for the establishment. And I somehow doubt Trump can get the nomination either (maybe they get to this whole brokered convention thing) and even if Trump will be a president then at least he is a businessman who could theoretically be:

* reached to an agreement

* made into an a awful example for a "loose cannon outsider" by undermining useful changes and blowing big the missteps (so that no outsider could possibly win for the next few elections)

* MKUltra Trump (irc. one part of it focused on finding ways to alter peoples mind for them to ruin their lives themselves)

Well, she has lied and cheated constantly in the past. If anyone expected her to play fair in the campaign they are idiots.

well unless im terribly mistaken not for this certainly...

BTW the DNC could cancel all state primarys for the democratic party and announce HRC their nominee and there would be nothing illegal about that by the way...The republicans can do the same..the green party. PARTIES organize primaries not the federal government.

If you cheat in the actual general election the one that finally picks who goes to the office...yah you go to jail.

That said fuck the DNC and hillary clinton.

sp00kygh0st

HAHAHAHA voter ID laws are racist though, this is justice.

Medicroger

They're not racist, they're strategic.

Besides, both parties are private entities.

There is no law in place that says they have to honor any voters opinion.

They can, and probably will, give the entire united states population a huge middle finger and nominate some one that makes who ever pays to keep the lights on happy.

Clinton, Bush, Rubio, Cruz ... ESTABLISHMENT

Bernie, Rand Paul, Ron Paul ... NOT ESTABLISHMENT

RedditIsPropaganda23

The Establishment generally denotes a dominant group or elite that holds power or authority in a nation or organization

RedditIsPropaganda23

No SuperPAC

Blacked out by Media like Ron Paul was, although now his following is too big to be ignored.

Calls out the corrupt and rigged system. Calls out the Oligarchy. Calls out Clinton's wallstreet donors.

Why do you think Goldman Sachs funds both Clinton and Bush's campaign.... THEN ATTACKS Bernie.

Get a clue on who Establishment is.

RedditIsPropaganda23

One is part of the establishment. One is not.

Amadameus

Sanders has worked in politics, absolutely - but if you look at his voting record he stays true to what he believes.

HRC, on the other hand, collects blackmail for leverage and uses every dirty trick in the book to achieve her ends.

Bernie is the kind of politician who makes me believe that the system may actually be recovered from within - HRC is the kind of entrenched corruption he'll be fighting.

War_Wombat

Nope, he's already demonstrated that he WON'T fight it. He might not be a perpetrator, but he sure is an enabler. All his talk of not splitting the vote against Hillary shows that he is fully OK with the establishment, as long as it is the DEM party one. He couldn't even take a stand against hoodlums stealing his microphone and telling him to shut up at his own event. How the hell is he supposed to reign in corruption supported by actual ruthless billionaires?

B3bomber

I think Sanders would be the politician and HRC would be better called as walking felon, crook, thief, etc.

Amadameus

I'm a Dem myself - please don't compare a psychopath like HRC to us.

Best I can think of to describe her is "professional politician." She's so experienced in working the political machine as we see it that we can't really expect anything more from her but the same old song and dance as always.

0fsgivin

Hey I'm a dem to.Look, the fact we even have anywhere near as many hillary supporters in this party does not bode well for the future.

I can accept hey sanders is a bit to extreme. But hot damn to have THAT woman as the moderate? whew you know your in bad shape when your moderate is that fucking bad.

Amadameus

I agree with you, but I see it as the symptom of our current problem.

Trump is the same breakaway from the Republican party as Sanders is from the DNC - both are scared of these wild cards who might gasp actually change things.

Hillary is a candidate because she's worked the system to get there, why would she make any serious change to a system that's already rewarding her?

0fsgivin

exactly...HRC would be a disaster. On par with the likes of the Bush Presidency.

Pawn

welp it's official liary is going to cheat her way to the top.

ThisWeirdIndividual

Why didn't they call the cops? This is illegal.

0fsgivin

I don't think so actually...not in the primary. The democratic party could announce tommorow fuck it we just want hillary to be our nominee. They are a private organization. If you don't like it make another party. But the DNC gets to do whatever it wants when it comes to nominating their parties canidate. As they should honestly...

Now in the general election this would not even happen and if it did oh yes would be very illegal.

Heres hoping for the alternative vote to replace first past the post someday...till then its just gunna get worse and worse.

Men13

How is this illegal? This isn't a government election, it's a private entity that does whatever the fuck it wants.

It might be a breach of some contract with the candidates, and Bernie might be able to sue them for damages (although probably not). But what law was broken?
