Imagine you could influence the next series that is insanely popular like Harry Potter. For instance, what if the series depicted, I don't know, anything- police, abortion, war -in a negative light, but not only that, reinforced the feeling over the series to get that idea into people's minds. Obviously, heavy handed, light handed, imagine it is done well.

A movie wherein an advanced alien civilization detects a cataclysm on the planet belonging to a much less advanced species. The advanced civilization rescues the less advanced one and brings them to their planet and the people they rescued show no gratitude and begin blaming their rescuers for destroying their planet in the first place.
