Have you ever seen a revolution of fat people?

DeliciousNoseClams

After reading this thread I need to hurry up n get myself a gun, not in America but still, worlds fucked

GizaDog

Its all been well planned. We are seeing it play out now.

SaneGoatiSwear

and so much more!

conspiracy sticky post being formulated here, folks, jump on in!

EarlPoncho

no it's for control. fats are weak and easy to manipulate and it has been scientifically proven that they are dumber. beetus bobby isn't revolting against the man, he's sitting on his couch watching pornography while sipping on a mountain dew

pepepepepe

Exactly. Why slaughter the cow when you can milk it?

SaneGoatiSwear

why keep the cow when they have a machine that makes milk cheaper and easier?

EarlPoncho

i mean you're suggesting that fat people are going to be hunted down by robots seems a bit out there. if anything the people with healthy BMI's would be hunted

SaneGoatiSwear

no, replaced, not hunted.

Obesity is overconsumption. We don't just eat too much, we buy/spend too much, have to get new things all the time, things that aren't really important (smartphones, smart TVs, cheap trendy clothing, etc.). We are constantly bombarded with advertising, and ad companies, and the NSA, are tracking every move we make.

I hear people complaining about the low minimum wage when they have most of the things listed above. They have become slaves to consumerism, and that includes Big Macs, Twinkies, stuffed crust pizzas. They will spend their lives working for these things, while nations will offer free healthcare, free education (in some nations), subsidized government housing, and Foodstamps. Rather than teach people to tithe on their own, we've created a world where adults rely on an omnipotent government.

I have no reason not to believe the corn subsidies and possible lobbyists for fast food/junk food production aren't part of a bigger plan to enslave us.

Tree_Snake

"Rather than teach people..." I think that is the root of this. No one who understands these conditions lives in them.

Yeah I had this sort of weird epiphany/theory about my above comment when my son had some paper to write about the civil war and how slavery is different from how we live today. I told him it really wasn't different.

I think the reason the obesity pandemic isn't being addressed is because it's part of the plan. Another point for my tinfoil hat: JFK wrote a letter to the nation stating that convenience (mass production of autos, popularization of tv, refrigeration, other home appliances) would soften us. That we could easily be conquered if we slack off on fitness. He tried to implement a nationwide physical fitness course similar to boot camp for public high schoolers. We can't think clearly or fight when we're soft and flabby from the comfort of our living rooms.

I think it's more like capitalistic greed personified rather than any kind of planned attack tbh.

Maybe it has now become one useful way of controlling the 'masses', but I think this has occurred in the U.S. mainly by a mix of chance and free market ideology.

PM_nudes_pls

yea I agree, I see it the same way. just because someone takes advantage of something doesnt mean they created it. even if they created something it doesnt mean it always had the purpose it may have now.
