You even said "privacy tab." Look, Google results aren't standard. They are tailored for you. Suggestions too. Even if you're not logged in! Google uses your browsers signature, IP, operating system, etc. to personalize results. There are no standard Google results.

This is in a private tabe (in Chrome "incognito tab", in Firefox "private browsing tab")? I get nothing for "christians are " (note note the space), but if I drop the 's' in christians, I get "saints", "hypocrites", "wrong", and "catholic".

Google has become increasingly annoying. I've noticed tailored search results to things I've searched before. It's great in some circumstances, but it really traps you into a bubble of influence. No longer experiencing that ramdom unrelated topic that can give you perspective.

Gonna be honest, I just tried it and I get no results for anything. Christians, Jews, Muslims, athiests, agnostics, gays, blacks, nothing. No suggestions whatsoever as soon as I type the 'a' in "are".

Google used to include a link to Chilling Effects summarizing how many links were removed from your search because of DMCA/other requests. THAT is real censorship, more than piddly search suggestions aggregated from the unwashed masses, then culled to maintain a civilized appearance.

I'm more angry that Google gutted their porn results, and stopped reading search queries as robotically as they used to. Now search is "fuzzy" and results in what they think you want to see.

Looks like their site is semi-indexed. 8 chan has less restriction on what can be posted and sometimes illegal stuff gets on there so Google was trying to filter that out. http://archive.is/rC7Ya

The 8ch.net/robots.txt file looks like this:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /Ã¼ber/

robots.txt is the file that things like search engine crawlers are supposed to use as guidance for what they're allowed to index. No one makes them follow it, though.

Now, that's how it appears as ASCII, but as UTF8 encoding, it's über . No idea if this is some kind of joke or something but it's indexed in my search results!

Now, if you -really- wanna go for a trip, try typing in "atheists are ...". Honestly, I thought you were going to lead up to that and not muslims. But, what is said for both of those is kind of interesting. Don't bother with looking up agnostics though. Google doesn't seem to care one way or the other about them.
