I've seen a little bit about this. Europeans are generally more aware than Americans. If everyone knew how the system really worked they'd change, maybe start using something else as a means of exchange.

I wonder what the system would resort to in order to save its own ass in the end? I don't really think it will change itself, without first, the people abandoning it.

As much as I like the topic --- does it really need a sticky? Where does it stop? Won't everyone else want to stick their own 'important' topic? You should create a sub called 'End the Fed' and we can link to it in the sidebar. You can add as many stickies as you want there. Nothing personal but, I just don't like sticky posts.
