Spend some time in the subverses that carry the content you are looking for and track down the sources of the posted content. When someone posts to underreported, research the source of the article they are linking to. You will find the sources you are looking for.

You could try visiting message boards within the Tor network. I recently started doing so and have come across some interesting discussions so far. Also, idling in certain IRC channels (e.g. in the I2P network) is a good way to stay in touch with the kind of information I assume you are looking for. And of course clearnet sites like cryptome.org, firstlook.org/theintercept/ or /r/conspiracy might be interesting to you.
