Wow, Wales is fucked up, here is a little longer of an article about this. Also does it strike anyone as sick that these papers can't say what the joke is making it impossible for anyone else to know precisely what is illegal?

HootersMcBoobies

Thank you for a non-daily mail version.

penguincheerleader

I had to google that guys name because this story seemed strange and I was a bit confused about location. That article was more informative but mostly made me think holy shit Wales has it much worse. It does sound like a certain overzealous prosecutor in that part of Wales may have something to do with this but I am still astonished that things would go that far in the Western world.

Psilocyber

How is this different from Muslims offence at stuff about the prophet mohammed (Geese wee upon him). Okay perhaps the lack of violence but give it time.

If something you hear offends you don't listen, or if it's something you see don't watch.

If it's something you see while on facebook, forget it, you're already beyond help.

Society has lost its collective fucking mind.

Warden

As much as I don't want this for the guy, he's probably a neet that browses any of the *chans. This will give him "stories" to tell his internet friends, like being raped. Good luck in jail, you marvelous faggot.

Warden

Canada's no better.

sinjinsmythe

Pretty much the US seems the only safe place to speak freely without legal repercussions at this point. Everywhere else is a combination of 1984, Fahrenheit 451 and Minority Report pre-crime units coming to arrest you for thinking bad things out loud.

DoesKnowHarm

How does political correctness have this much power over our FIRST fucking amendment?

I have the right to say ANYTHING I want, barring harmful threats.

How can people not see that this type of censorship takes away our individual power?

People are ruled to heavily by emotions rather than logic. Just because you "feel" strongly about something someone said that you negatively, that doesn't mean what they said couldn't be true. The day the truth matters lees than individual feelings will be the day all the logical people must stand and fight against emotional irrationality.

Feelings change. The truth is always true.

If you can't handle having your feelings hurt because someone called you fat, or were told a truth you wished wasn't, I hope they (you or whoever) live a long, LONG life. As my mission to personally invade safe spaces, pull "triggers" and plaster the truth everywhere to ensure EVERYONE has suffered more "micro-aggressions" that could be counted.

America: Land of the Police, home of the most pansy ass bitches ever.

The strong will survive, the weak, they'll just be future examples of how NOT to live.

SumerBreeze

This happened in Britain, you lazy ignorant fuck.

Read the article next time.

DoesKnowHarm

Oh, you must be FROM Britain. Your little nation, economically is basically equal to our shittiest state.

It wouldn't matter if this was written in Peru, "political correctness" and "multiculturalism" are dangerous.

What has happened to Europe? They're getting raped. Literally, culturally and financially.

You obviously have a very limited perspective of the world, but I'll tell you this bit b of wisdom: groups of people do, always have, forever will have problems with other certain groups. Because we're all different. Some people are too ignorant to understand, swaths of groups, cultures, religions, they will believe they are superior. Doing whatever it takes to prove that, in their minds, being "right" gives them unauthorized power.

Also, not lazy, not ignorant. Should I provide official documentation showing that even though I DIDN'T read the article (BC it wasn't needed) I still know just a little bit about societies. And people. Oh. And their psychology.

Next time, prove you're not a dolt.

SumerBreeze

I'm from the US. Quit being a faggot and stick to the topic - and try actually reading the article next time.

DoesKnowHarm

Yeah, I'm the faggot?

You're right.

( Packs bags to leave county since hope of you being an English resident doesn't exist )

SumerBreeze

I've been there for a couple weeks, but those cunts live in squalor.

Warden

Freedom of speech is a right in every first-world country, you big cunt.

HootersMcBoobies

No, it's not. Britian censors their Internet. Germany doesn't allow anyone to present a nazi logo. The US has several exceptions to free speech, including things that are subjectively obscene. China has free speech listed in their constitution.

Warden

It should, just like it was years ago.

penguincheerleader

Apparently not and the first amendment is the American constitution.

Warden

The name differs, the right is the same.
