Whitley Strieber just touched on the missing plane: claims terrorists(gov) hijacked it, took it to an island. And theorized that they could take out the seats and load a nuke (like the missing one from TX) on it and named D.C. as a ttarget

The 'island' is Diego Garcia -- a military base in the Indian Ocean.

In one of the English papers this week they re-reported the idea that one of the pilots had his simulator loaded to a few desolate Pacific islands.

If we assume they are reporting this only to reinforce a lie, it fits this narrative.
