Although appearances and facts are very often the same, it's important to remember they are two different things. We all know that things are often quite other than they appear. So although it may not look like it, the insurmountable problem mentioned above (that they could not have known ahead of time they would be in control of all images), makes it highly unlikely that anything other than flight 77 hit the pentagon, as even a single still would reveal the ruse.
