This is an absolutely common sense bill, it's amazing it took all this effort.

Two things: prior to this bill, people largely lost the right of self protection when they, arguably, needed it most; and during an emergency, the availability of weapons to criminals skyrocketed when response elements were least capable of reacting.

Now, we just need to restore the rest of the 2nd Amendment.
