Yellowstone Super Volcano, The Hero America Needs. . .

I'm just hoping this volcano can hold off until my son can walk on his own. I'd hate to have to carry him through the apocalypse.

Their aren't a whole lot of facts in this article. There isn't some insane about of seismic activity happening in the world and there has not been any dramatic increase in Yellowstone's seismic activity.

its comforting to think along the lines of "it only happens every few million years" and somehow equating that to "it wont happen in my lifetime".

Things are looking ugly down there, esp when you compare this article with all the other volcanoes that are happening around the pacific plate...the only part of that hasnt had a major event yet just happens to be yellowstone.
